We follow the guidelines set out by the ‘Food Standard Agency’ in Safer Food Better Business. All staff on site have a food and hygiene certificate and all of our meals are prepared fresh on the day with quality ingredients. We are also working towards the Healthy Early Years London Award. All our menus are checked by a nutritionist to ensure we are providing the children at our setting a healthy and balanced diet. We try to introduce children to a variety of food including ones from different cultures.
Sabrina brings warmth and enthusiasm to the setting, helping to create an environment where children feel safe, valued, and happy. She spends much of her time with the children, building strong bonds and supporting their development through play and learning. Fluent in French, she enjoys sharing her language skills as an added experience for the children. Alongside her work in the rooms, she also supports with the day-to-day running of the nursery, working closely with the team and families to ensure a positive experience for all.
Nina is a dedicated early years practitioner with a passion for creating high-quality, wholesome activities that truly engage the children. She is a strong play lead, guiding experiences that encourage curiosity and independence while maintaining a calm and nurturing presence. With a particular interest in Montessori, which she is currently studying, she is keen to bring these principles into the setting to enrich the children’s learning and development along side our other much loved approaches, Reggio Emilia and curiosity approach.
Georgina is involved in ensuring all our nurseries operate to the highest standard. Attending weekly branch meetings to oversee progress, support management and make sure everything is running smoothly. She is deeply committed to both child and parent satisfaction, and takes pride in ensuring an environment is created where children can thrive. She strives to ensure every aspect of the nursery reaches its fullest potential. Her goal is to give each child the best possible foundation for future success while maintaining a warm, supportive, and enriching environment for families.
Mary is the Owner and Managing Director of our Palmers Green branch and brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role. As the founder of the very first Aplomb branch, she has played a vital part in shaping the nursery’s values and standards. While primarily based at Palmers Green, Mary enjoys visiting the other branches to share her many years of wisdom and guidance. She is passionate about maintaining clean, organised settings, filled with rich resources and meaningful, nurturing interactions between staff and children. Mary is dedicated to ensuring that the wider Aplomb family, operates with excellence, warmth, and care.
Elena brings both professional expertise and personal insight into the needs of families. She visits our branches weekly to ensure each setting is running to the highest standard and to support staff in delivering excellence. Elena has a particular passion for the quality of activities offered to the children, caring deeply that they go far beyond the ordinary. She encourages experiences that spark curiosity, inspire creativity, and build confidence. Attentive to how each nursery brings these opportunities to life, she reflects on interactions and child engagement. Equally, she values having clear procedures and policies in place for every aspect of nursery life, no matter how small, to provide consistency and excellence across the board. Through her dedication and enthusiasm, Elena continues to play an integral role in our continuous improvement program, ensuring that our settings remain the very best.
